43rd Oregon Open, Portland Oregon

This is still the longest run tournament in North America and certianly a fun tournament to attend!

Overall I had a good weekend!  If you have not been to this tournament before, you should try to make it, especially if you want to play a lot of darts since each event is round robin format.

Blind Draw:

I won the blind draw Friday night, which didn’t end till 3:30 am in the morning – ouch!

501 and Cricket Doubles:

After only going to be around 4:00 am, a 10:00 am Saturday start didn’t give me much rest but I still felt okay. I teamed up with long time friend John Denich for a good run to the top 4 in the 01 and top 8 in the cricket doubles.

Mixed Doubles

Finished Top 4 in the mixed doubles.

Singles

I played Patrick Kithi in both singles.  I won the cricket singles 3-0 and Patrick won the 501 singles 3-2.

After missing this tourney for a couple years it was great to get back and I look forward to making it again next year!  Put this tournament on your calendar.
