Pennsylvania Open - January 8-10, 2010

The year as always started with the first tournament being in Philly.

Robert Heckman and I took the overnight flight to New York, a two hour drive to Philly, checked into our room and got ready for the first event of the weekend, Pro Shot.  In this event I finished top 8, missed two darts at 40 to keep going.  I lost to fellow Canadian, Jay Barlow.  In the 01 doubles, we lost in the semis finals followed this up with a loss in the cricket doubles final and a semi finals loss in the mixed triples, playing with Brenda Roush.  The triples event has to go down as the most fun event I ever played (Rob, Brenda and I).  Let's just say we were having a good time.  I went out to my number one nemesis in US darts, Brian Blake in the cricket singles event and in the 501 singles I lost in the top 8 to Darin Young.  All in all, not a bad start to the year.
